Good off-road riding experience is required. This is a multi-day tour with several hours on the bike, demanding not only technical ability but also sound energy management and independent riding over varied terrain. The routes include trails, mule tracks, woodland and technical sections, with difficulty varying according to the season and ground conditions. It is therefore not suitable for beginners.
You can take part on a specialist two-stroke or four-stroke enduro motorcycle. The motorcycle must be in perfect condition and fitted with knobby tyres in good condition, with at least 70% tread recommended. Tyre mousse inserts are recommended to reduce the risk of punctures and deal with unexpected issues along the route.
A minimum range of approximately 60–70 km is recommended. The tour includes stops and logistical support, with refuelling available along the route or through the support team, but it is important always to set off with a full tank.

The route is varied and runs mainly across Apennine terrain. It includes trails, mule tracks, woodland, farm tracks and single-track sections, with climbs and descents as well as short paved connections. Rain or wet ground may increase the level of difficulty.
The group is accompanied by at least two guides — a lead rider and a sweep rider — as well as a support vehicle assisting the activity along the route. The number of guides is adjusted according to the number of participants to ensure safety and optimal group management.
Yes, assistance is provided throughout the tour. A support vehicle follows the group along the route, carries the participants' luggage and is available for any technical or logistical needs. If a motorcycle develops a problem, the organisation works to allow the participant to continue, including by providing a replacement motorcycle whenever possible. The aim is always to ensure continuity of the experience, using the most appropriate solutions so that everyone can enjoy the tour with complete peace of mind.
Technical off-road clothing that provides freedom of movement and adequate protection is required. We recommend an off-road helmet with goggles, protective equipment, gloves and technical boots. You should also bring a waterproof jacket, a spare pair of gloves and spare goggles, as well as a backpack or waist pack with water — preferably with mineral salts — snacks and anything else needed for the day.
